Our Story
Our Story
I was inspired by serving others to create and provide an option for healthier food choices. The birth Jimmy Jam’s Vegan Foods came from serving others over the past 30 years or more. I have made serving the most vulnerable population in society my life work. My entire life work in providing services to others focused on the homeless community (single fathers and mothers), to secure suitable housing, criminal justice community to bridge the gap for our returning citizens. Which it has included working with women and children who have experienced violence in the home.
Why We Do What We Do

Meet one of our stars:
Our Baker
I am a eleventh grade student at Charles R Drew High School. I am a student with a 3.7 GPA and I’m in the top ten percent of my high school class. I have a great interest in baking along with starting my own baking business. I’ve been baking since I was 7 and I’ve always found it as a way of happiness for me. It’s like my calm and happy place. I’ve always had a love for baking and cooking. Also seeing many young entrepreneurs starting their own business made me want to start one of my own. My family members have also been very supportive of my baking which really encouraged me to start as well. I have just finished my last year of culinary last semester. The class has really helped increase my knowledge in the culinary world. I definitely feel I will take culinary college classes in the future. In the future I see myself pursuing a life as a elementary school teacher because I have a love for teaching, while also maintaining my baking business on the side. I feel like after I get my masters in Elementary Education I will pursue a pastry culinary degree as well.
